Update on previous post of guests wanting to leave early..
Since I can't figure out how to update on my last post I'll update this way. Sorry I'm new
I went over to visit with my guests and we discovered it was the glade plug-in that was bothering her. So I brought over an air purifier to run for the day and she sleep well last night. I'm so glad we were able to figure it all out. They are staying for their entire reservation and were grateful for my patience in trying to solve the problem!
But I will not put back my glade plug-ins! Apparently if you have a sensitive nose they are very annoying!
Thanks for everyone's help!!
Donna
I am glad you removed those. There are lots of chemicals in those things. Many people get migraines from them. Same thing with Fabreze.
Margo
Thank you for the up date and I am glad you find a way to help your guest.
Gordon
The thing with these chemical things is that guests may wonder what you are trying to hide. A clean smell is one thing, a plug in job is another.
Deborah
THe chemicals in "air fresheners" like Glade and Febreeze are TOXIC and harmful to humans. All hosts should realize this -- some people will not complain about the smell, but actually the chemicals are bad for everyone, regardless if you like the smell or not. As Donna mentions some people will develop headaches and other ailments from these chemicals.
Makers of "air fresheners" (A ridiculous name for a product containing toxic chemicals) are NOT required to disclose the chemicals they include in their garbage.
SEe this article on "How Air Fresheners are killing you" and then rip them out of your house if you have them.
