Hello Everyone, Its Kristi from New Hosts & Hosting 911 with Airbnb. I enjoy meeting up with the folks in those groups. I trust their suggestions, love to hear their stories, learn from their experiences and mostly love to look at their listings and put most of them on my Wish List. I seriously hope to have these same connections here with all of you. I have been hosting with Airbnb since last February. I have a nice couple here right now from Washington DC. She was raised there and her husband is from England. With Airbnb I have hosted folks from around the world. I learn something from each one of them and hear stories I never would have been able to enjoy. I had so much fun decorating and preparing my Casita for my guests and just love filling the space with flowers, goodies and the necessities of life. It gives me so much pleasure to suggest a restaurant or beach to my guests and then to hear how much they loved the food or cherished the sunset. I am honored to have Super Host status and strive to keep it. I wish you all the best in your endeavors and look forward to hearing from all of you. Kind Regards, Kristi

HI Kristi Nice to see you here! Yes, isn't it fun to be able to have a reason for redecorating? And for making your house nicer? Before Airbnb, I had regular "roommmates" in my house, and I was doing home improvements then too -- but my "roomies" didn't really appreciate the improvements, as much as I would have hoped. After starting with Airbnb and having guests in my home, I see that guests tend to experience and express more gratitude for being in your house They feel grateful that you allowed them to stay, and they express appreciation so often. I find that being praised for what I have done to make my house nice, keeps motivating me to do more for guests, to keep wanting to offer back some of the good energy that they are offering to me. So it is a very nice positive feedback loop that one gets into with hosting guests.
