Hi Deborah and thanks for starting this forum. I've been in the short-term rental business since way before AirBnB even started. In fact it's been my livelihood pretty much since I moved from London to New York in 2002, first for myself, then advising clients, managing their properties as a real estate broker, marketing professional and property manager. With over 10 years of knowledge and experience of the whole vacation rental process, managing multiple homes and rental properties soup to nuts, and as an AirBnB Superhost, there are not many aspects I haven't already handled. Unfortunately though, as it happened a few weeks ago, transient rentals under 14 days were banned all across our area, in effect shutting us and everyone else down around here. While responsible hosts in our community fight to get this political decision overturned, I've lost my livelihood overnight and as such, am now seeking consultancy work -- to connect with other owners, investors and property managers in other areas who may be interested in hiring us on an ad hoc basis, to tap into some of our skill sets. Whether you're just starting out, want help putting your listing descriptions together, random advice, or are just too busy to manage it all on your own, consider hiring me. I'm happy to help you navigate the process, avoid pitfalls, raise the profile of your listing, raise occupancy rates, profit margins and overall operational efficiency.

HI Jolane Sorry to hear that rentals under 14 days were banned in your area. Did you by any chance have any hosts in your area organizing to advocate for their interests? We in the Home Sharers group have found that this can help a lot.
IN any case, welcome to the forum, and thank you for posting that you are available for consultation. Hopefully in time you will get some business your way! You may find that, in any given host community or forum, such as this one, being active in the community helps people get to know you and perhaps they will be more likely to seek your help if they see you are an active community member.
