My two cents: This is an important job that impacts Hosts, including those in San Francisco. As head of global policy and public affairs, Lehane will oversee issues that include regulation, legalization and taxation as they begin to appear in more and more jurisdictions around the world. The sharing economy corporate hirings are starting to look like the Obama White House staff relocation program. :-)
