I don’t find the create a file button on the phone, so this does not concern Toronto but Paris.
The town assigned airbnb for thousand listings today and five other platforms for hundreds, for non compliance with the obligations to post a registration number. So far inly a fifth registered.
The decret defining the penalties is not published yet, but they want to be fast.
It’s an appeal to the court to forbid them publishing the listings.
Sometimes it’s funny how you find out information. The law was annoynced, but the missinv sanctions were new to me. I had tried to find out the find though.
Curious how long airbnb wil shrug it off and how the housing market will react. There were already lots of airbnb flats on the market and their prices start to sink.
