San Francisco keeps changing it's STR rules, or trying to. The latest: www.sfgate.com/business/article/SF-supervisors-propose-60-day-cap-on-all-Airbnb-9969646.phpSan Francisco would allow those hosts who've registered with the city to have an unlimited number of rental nights, but limit those who haven't registered, to only 60 nights a year. So, they are effectively saying that they will apply more stringent laws to those who by refusing to or failing to register have eluded enforcement of any and all short term rental laws. Sounds like a winning plan. Just how they plan to apply these laws to those whom they haven't yet been able to find in order to apply any laws...well that is another story. But they seem to please themselves by making up more and more restrictive laws.
