After our first bad review from a bitter, nasty women who obviously did not read the listing (perhaps not even the title "Eco Artist Sanctuary"), which fully disclosed her rambling complaints about our certified wildlife habitat space in the Appalachian mountains, I was inspired to get started with some outdoor mural painting on our guest quarters to help more in our efforts to scare away people like her, and attract people who love our natural Artist Sanctuary. Just started, it's going to have LOTS more nature. Plenty of critters, definitely some ANTS (the main thing she complained about even though we totally disclose and warn of ants in our description (and they're not bad at all, they only come out when there's a mess to clean up, no other guest has ever mentioned them). When it's done, with all the nature and forest friends, I'll add a photo to our listing! Thanks for the inspiration, mean lady!

Isn't it wonderful when we can get inspiration from "mean" or nasty people, unpleasant events, hard times, misfortunes? I think those of us who are able to do that are very fortunate. We can respond creatively to situations, and the darts and arrows others throw at us, we can fashion into beautiful freestyle sculptures of unbridled creative expression....which seems exactly what you did with your gorgeous mural! I love the colors. I love the mushrooms! The grass & vegetation in front of the mural seems to merge so naturally right into the picture, and I imagine the ants will fit in with it as well.
The more color, the more art, the more animals...the more (I hope) guests will just find they have a hard time being mean at your place!
I look forward to hearing the next chapter in the life of the Artist Sanctuary!

Did you paint that? It's beautiful. I think you have a very unique place.
