So the argument is that since LA landlords can make a year's income in 2 months using Airbnb...they shouldn't be able to rent entire places on Airbnb....
But one could also argue, that if more of them rented on Airbnb..the prices they could command would decrease....leading to less likelihood of renting out the places on Airbnb.
