This is the hosts' listing: www.airbnb.com/rooms/923708In the 2nd link I posted in the OP, it says that the building the host's listing is in, USED to be used for public housing. So it doesn't seem, from what that says, that it still is public housing. This makes more sense to me...used to be, but now it's regular apartments. Also, if the place was so bad, why does the host have 45 mostly all great reviews and an overall 5 star rating???!?! Overall, not just one but FIVE guests reviewed her place as being "exactly as described"!! How could it be possible then, that it was very far from what was described?!? One guest said: "I stayed for one month at Lyndsey's apartment and it is exactly as described, spacious and comfortable! Lyndsey was a great host, always friendly and willing to assist. This was my first time using Airbnb and it was a great experience. The apartment is in a perfect location, walking distance to the subway, a bus stop right outside and a store/deli just below. The bed is super comfortable and the view is incredible. I highly recommend Lyndsey's apartment." And a second guest also says, "Everything was as-described." A third guest also says, "The apartment was clean, organized, beautiful, and has got a lot of space, and just as everything shown in pictures and described in introduction/reviews." A fourth guest says "The apartment is exactly as described." And finally, a fifth guest says, "the place was true to the pictures & description,"!!
