I tried replying to this post directly from my email. Apparently didn't work. Here was my first thought:
I wish Dura would participate in the group. She was ever so nice, but I think she had mentioned similar laws in Singapore, due to the housing shortage, somehow the residences are controlled by the gov't in most cases making the usage of airbnb accommodations illegal.
Which I think would apply in most gov't housing as the rent is typically based on your income; as well as the residents have to be registered in any rental agreement.

Good that they got him! Subsidized housing is what it is - using subsidy from the taxpayers, aka us!
