Apparently if you are doing what most business people do and being a host to make money and run a business, you are a "professional operator" who should be vilified and spit on! www.bisnow.com/national/news/hotel/report-professional-operators-make-a-killing-off-airbnb-59859This kind of perspective really incenses me. IN any other business in the world -- name any business at all -- you are congratulated if you are successful in that business. But start doing short term rental hosting, and all of a sudden, some perverse reverse logic comes into play, and you're only a "good" host if you dont' do very much business. If you're successful you're the new Satan. Are you a successful host? Then this is you.

Yeah, I wonder when it started and who started it, that doing Airbnb as a business is viewed as unethical, short of a committing a crime. I had a niece and a few friends stay for 2 nights a few days ago, I was left with a very dirty place and had to pay a cleaner on top of losing a 2 nights rent. Not complaining, but would definitely not letting people stay if it wasn't for the income.
