Dark Chocolate + White sheets
Right so my lovely ladies ate chocolate in bed. It's melted into the pillowcase as well as the sheets. Tips on getting it out?

Water should do it. If sheets are white you could bleach them. If coloured a per wash stain remover - but shouldn't be too hard to shift. Cheers Pauline

Tracy, I would NOT use bleach. Chocolate is a protein stain. Bleach will render a protein stain even more yellow especially after running it thru the dryer. Instead, dip and rinse the stain a few times with water softener like Borax or Calgon (1/4 c to 1 quart water) Work the stain out with your fingers or a soft brush. After the 3rd or 4th time, the stain should be gone.

Freeze the sheets to make the chocolate hard enough to flake off prior to washing? Hello Martha Stewart??

Oh, bam! I've heard of scraping it off first with a butter knife, but freezing is even better!

Very good idea. They were pretty much just 'soft melted flake bits' so I think this is a good plan. I'll try it on the pillowcases (as they are small enough for my under the counter UK microfridge with micro-micro freezer)

I am trying to remember what people wrote to Help Heloise in the Good Housekeeping magazines. What would Martha do?? Hmmm. Good luck

If there is nothing solid left (freezing is great to remove it) I just recently discovered 50/50 Hydrogin peroxide and dish soap. It worked wonders on the unwashed black eye make-up and beet juice on the carpet.

But no matter what, don't let it dry until the stain is gone. The dryer will set the stain, so if you don't have time to deal with it right away, keep it wet, soaking in water, pre-treat with Zout, you can also soak in oxy clean. I know, it's very hard to keep the whites white!!

Simple and Easy ... Here's how; Fast Orange Hand Cleaner .. Very effective for laundry stains as well. No petroleum solvents and it is Biodegradable.
Directions how to use ;
Scrape off the chocolate stains, wet the surrounding affected area and apply the Fast Orange Cleaner, rub it with your pointy finger and or use a used tooth brush ( just be creative) and sprinkle with tiny amount of wote ( as in water) LOL then you'll see that those stains starts to break.. and wash or laundry and you are done.. hope it works for you. and Stacy. keep smiling you cutie !
