Greetz from Holland
Hello everybody, we are Mark and Linda from The Netherlands. We have not yet completed our profile due to lack of good pictures. We are waiting for a beautiful day, that can take while in winter Holland. How many pictures would you think is the best amount?
Where can we set our calendar?
Looking forward to receive as many tips as possible!
Thanks in advance

Mark, don't wait! turn on the lights and take those photos. Take as many as you need to showcase your property. I have about 29 for my little one bed/living room combo guest house.

Hi Mark - also be sure to request a photographer. Airbnb has great ones all over the world. Not only will pro photos make your property look great, having the photos uploaded will have a positive impact on where your listing appears in the search listings.
Get Pro Photography by navigating to: Dashboard > Your Listings > Manage Listing [of the one you want pro photography on) > Photos. You will see three squares below "Drag & drop photos here)

Both. Photos are now required on every listing (which is relatively recent). Previously when photos were added, the search value of the listing went up.
And yes, the photos of your listing done by an Airbnb photographer will have "Verified Photo" under the Airbnb.com watermark in the top right corner. Additionally, Airbnb photographers are generally very good. Providing them for free is a big benefit that no other listing site I'm aware of does.
Several times a week I am asked for help regarding listings for new hosts. Scheduling the photographer is the first and the most important thing you want to do. The second is the headline. Those two factors are the primary reasons why some listings get lots of hits and others do not.
