I'm Not showing up in search results?
Hi, My listing does not seem to be showing up in search results. We have some events in town over the next several months and I was doing a search trying to compare and look at those weekend specifically to compare price to mine, and mine isn't on there. I checked my calendar, it's completely open, and I even logged out thinking that my listing wasnt showing up since it's my own listing? Can anyone chip in on this? Try searching for me in Manhattan, KS for say Sept 26-28th, my place is called "Peacefully Quiet Home..." I'm not seeing it in there anywhere and I've even searched other dates.

I cant' find it in the search results either! There aren't many Airbnb listings in your area, so it isn't hard to see what is there, and your listing is definitely not on the search results. I don't know why....Call Airbnb about this problem!

Same here, did a search with and without filtering "Private Room" in Manhattan KS, couldn't see it, even when you move the map close to your area. Definitely something to be concerned about. Do what Deborah says and call Airbnb (don't email). Good luck!

I was having the same problem. Sometimes the entire area I live in brings up nothing. I am speculating now that it's got to do with broadband internet problems with the whole system.

Carol, I can't find your listing, either. Deborah, I tried looking for yours and I can't see it on search results. I just discovered I can't find mine, too. What the heck?! It may be a temporary glitch in the system...but this can't be good.

Hi all -- I also couldnt' find any of my listings, and noticed that there are overall FAR fewer listings than there should be for my city -- normally my city has 56 pages of search results, and today I was only on page 6 or 7 before I started to get results from other cities. So I called AIrbnb customer service (got through in about 10 minutes, fortunately) and the person I spoke with confirmed that he couldnt' find any of my listings, and said that there were some tech people working on this problem right now, so it does seem to be a larger issue for the whole website. He couldnt' tell me when it would be fixed, but he said I could keep in touch with them about to what extent the problem is still occurring. I suggest you others also call in as well to Airbnb customer service about this problem, so that they can see how widespread the problem is.

I wonder if this is not an AirBnB problem, but a city-internet thing.

Well I didn't realize I would be uncovering a large problem. My guess is it's not a city internet problem since were all in different areas of the country. I'm sure they'll get it resolved soon.

Deborah, will call Airbnb as well. Tyler, thanks for alerting us. Carol, if a city-internet thing, which city? Maybe it has something to do with Airbnb servers?

Oh, my listing is gone as well. And this is Germany, so it is a global IT problem. And there are only very few listings shown at all in my city so we more or less are all affected. Thanks Tyler for bringing up the issue, I'm gonna call Airbnb as well'

What did AirBnB say when you called them?

Oddly someone booked my place last night but they said that they searched 4 times before they saw it appear as a listing.

How much is everyone editing their listing? I keep editing mine every day. I wonder if the saved updates is keeping it from showing up? I just made a listing for a second room and it shows up, but I can't see the listing for the first room at all. Or is this just AirBnB's algorithm on how they "customize travel searches"

Well, I sent an email to CX about this, let's see what happens. Eveeything is fine with my lusting as long as I look on it via the homepage. My listing also shows when I check it vua Android App as long as I don't enter any specific dates. When I do so, almost all listings including mine disappear...

Has anyone tried unlisting their place and then immediately relisting it to see if that puts it into the search results again?

I just got an email from Airbnb customer service, and they say they have fixed the problem. YEA! I also did a search and I am now showing up in search results ALl of you should check yours again too. Here is what customer service said:
"I've got some good news! We investigated the root cause of your listings not showing up, and our engineers have fixed the problem. The listing search should be working as normal once again.
Thank you for your patience. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused."
