Hi at l what does everyone think of services like Handy for housekeeping services?
There are pros and cons to using a dispatch service.
One of the pros is that we're not stuck with just one housekeeper that can get sick, quit, etc.
One of the cons is that it's a different housekeeper every time so they might not be accustomed to what we want done meticulously in the house. Also we would have to coordinate access to the house to different people...
Has anyone had any experience with one of these housekeeping dispatch companies?

I used Handy before, but decided to go back to an individual cleaner. My cleaner has a helper, so there are 2 of them. If one is sick or can't make it on that day, the other one will show up. But normally they both work together.

Thanks. But how did it work out with Handy? What made you go back to your regular cleaner?

They were not very good. I happened to come into the unit when they were finishing up and saw her flipping a dirty bathmat (instead of washing it first). My guests didnt really complain prior to that, so I couldnt tell if it was better before. But it is always a different cleaner. And the other thing is, if I need to change cleaning time at the last minute, it would become more complicated since I'd have to go thru their company first.
