Taxes...will it expose you to regulators?

A host wonders if Airbnb's collection of taxes will expose you to regulators. The answer is generally not, since Airbnb maintains privacy of hosts and only remits the taxes in a lump sum, without specifying each host from whom it has collected. There are a few exceptions but that is generally what Airbnb does.
