Pretty much right. So now for me, with vacancies, I might as well do cl, which is much easier on me anyway. And even if I did Airbnb exclusively, I think I'd stay booked pretty heavily, but it's just not worth what I have to go through.

Yeppers CC, I'm getting the one night stands like crazy, although they will be on the island for a week. Thank you very little.
First and foremost, it's for the buckeroos, but one night stands are a hard road to walk.
All the rest have minimum stays.. Voila!! moi gets chosen, add the fact with IB, and I get all the newbies without a flippin clue of why they even chose whatever cheap flight was on sale at whatever moment in time.
I can clean up the still dripping liquid bags of trash from my long term tenant, figure out the self cleaning oven, make a dump run, thanks to my error of not sticking to State of Hawaii landlord tenant Rental agreement, thus forcing her to clean up after herself. OMG!! there's those dental flosser things on every dresser and flat space available.
The short term guests annoyance lasts 2 laundry loads, a vacuuming, cleaning whatever they did to every touchable item in room, and Voila! Check out time has arrived, x dbl the payout.
I haven't found one person in my life that brought up all by their little lonesome that they don't have a clue how I can pull this one off.

I love Airbnb's suggested listing prices.
I believe one of my listings calendar headline was I could increase my bookings by 151% for whatever month if I dropped my listing price 2/3. I guess that's a no-brainer.
Gawd, I scramble for those giggles of the day.
The other idea I loved; can't remember if it was Deborah or Keith that mentioned it, was for the guests to pay the difference in their choice of cancellation policy.
All the 'big sites' do it, the airlines; that could also be a no-brainer instead of what I feel is an attack against hosting preferences.
Plus, I showed you the cancellation policies for the local hotels were one day, one month out.....NO refund.
Chit or get off the pot.
I refuse to be a puppet on a string.

Ha-ha CC!! Three out of three Chinese guests did not read the listing. Toilet fixed that they didn't fess up to, wasting precious island water supply. Attempting bathroom to recover from recent flood of 'clothes washing in the bathroom', flood and mess. All cars blocked in, or parked downhill poolside on the grass. I finally yelled to one who had phoned 'we're here'..."NO YOUR NOT!!! I'm standing in my driveway!" I think it's time for Rhonda to partake in that lovely Time Out room of yours. I'll make sure and order hearing aids now that the train sound has been moved 3 blocks away.
