They still will allow SRT if owner lives at the premises. Hopefully that helps the hosts that need supplemental income. |

Do you guys know if the NY law allows for SFR to be STR-ed as an entire unit?

Here is the actual bill, if anyone wants to track its progress: www.nysenate.gov/legislation/bills/2015/s6340The bill uses the term "dwelling units" in Class A multiple dwellings. I believe this indicates whole apartment rentals without a host living there. Otherwise they might say dwelling units or any single room in that unit. No one will know for sure until more clarification is given. |
