I have only been hosting for 6 months and have completed 23 bookings. I get a lot of Chinese couples wanting to stay with me and have been accepting them. Out of all the ones I have hosted there have only been one couple who were tidy, polite and made an effort to communicate with us. We even sat down and had a meal together. ALL the others have taken over my kitchen (which I have now made a rule about no cooking), have been complete slobs (bedding crumpled and left in pile everyday) and have left the bathroom a mess. I just kicked out two girls who were staying with me as they drove me crazy always washing their clothes in the shower and flooding my bathroom twice, not to mention using up all my handsoap and bodywash. I now DO NOT want to take any more bookings from Chinese people it has gotten that bad. Does anyone else have this problem?

I have similar experience, maybe it is because of our location, but about 80% of Chinese guests are a real pain.
Our location is a bit remote. When I say a bit, I really mean A BIT. It is located on the outside of the small town, in a natural setting. It is 1km away from town. On the listing it is described that the location is A BIT remote, but probably the Chinese do not read anything.
Most Chinese are either too spoiled to walk 1km I suppose or too afraid, because there is no tour guide to take them this 1 km.
I am mostly absent from the place that I rent, I just give them the keys and give them brochures and instructions so they can get to know the location themselves, but it seems if there is no one to hand hold them, they are utterly and completely lost.
I have had now probably the 10th Chinese guest who arrived here and wants to cancel the second day. They cancel, because as mentioned above no one hand holds them.
I host people from all over the world, US, Europe, Russia, other parts of Asia and these issues are almost exclusively related to the Chinese people. I need to prepare lots of things, documents, taxi, etc... in the end this is just not worth the trouble.
What is there to do? Is there a way we can block guests from China?
