Cleaning fee
Is the cleaning fee applied every time or only if the place is left much worse than found? I will be cleaning up between guests of course but just wondered what to do if it were left a real mess or if for example a key were lost.

The cleaning fee is added to every booking regardless how they leave the place. Lost key would have to come out of security deposit if you have one.

It is optional. If you want it you need to add it to your listing. You can set it to any amount you want.

Carla, I would strongly implore you to look carefully through EVERY tab in "Manage Listing," and use the FAQ (Help Center) to read up on important details you're unsure about, before you take any further reservations! Guests rightfully expect that as hosts we will be well-informed about the platform we're using.
And yes, you need a security deposit, if you intend to be compensated for any damage to your property, lost keys, etc. It is much more essential than the cleaning fee (which I think of more as a price supplement for shorter stays).

Thanks Andrew, will do. In fact, thought I did. Will check at work on my computer. Things are hard to find on the app sometimes. I tried searching for this question rather than posting it myself, to no avail. Thanks for respondin.
