Here's one of the funnier older posts on NHF; Note the crew of "regulars" was different back then ----

And I meant in the list of listings in my area. I am at the bottom. My metrics are wrong too. Response rate says NA. How do I get that fixed?

This has been discussed several times and there is not just one answer, combination with comments, update of calendar, maybe even the time you have been on airbnb, response rate, think it all counts, then again you see some with no comments at all and average rating all of a sudden in top ranking, so do not think I can give the correct answer.

You will probably get more response rate percentage once you have had more than three guests to give you an average of the star rating.

Ask group members to pull up your listing & give you ideas---the resulting 1,000+ hits to your listing should raise you substantially in the rankings! :-)

Also getting professional/verified photos done by an AirBnB photographer will give you a higher ranking.

Anne, I think you should repeat some of the photos from your whole house listing into the listing for the one room. Include the kitchen and shared space as well as your accommodations for people traveling with horses. Try also to think of ways to promote your listing to travelers who do week-end show jumping and eventing. I have a feeling that they have a hard time finding horse friendly accommodations.

Thanks Louise! My first guests were horse people and were wonderful. I will make sure I include the other rooms with the single room listing. Great!!!

And this week I have guests attending the Masters Tourney in Augusta. So I hope to have more reviews.
