This is a question that a lot of new hosts ask, so I'm posting this from New Hosts Forum here: www.airbnb.com/groups/content/content-209078Celia shared Feb 19 2016 Enquiries not leading to bookings...We've just started listing on Aibnb and have had a few bookings so far. But I'm finding I get lots of enquiries along the lines of "I really like your place and definitely want to book it", I pre-approve the request and then hear nothing back. They don't book. My question is - is there anything I can do to try and turn these enquiries into bookings? I reply promptly, answer any questions - is there anything else. Then when they book with one, the others are left wondering what happened. I think the least Airbnb could do is close the other inquiries so we're not wondering if we did something wrong. As Queenie says guests generally inquire at many places before they decide where to go. This is part of the hosting process....lots of nibbles few real bites.... Reply Like Delete
