I rent each room seperatly. In description I have stated that you can rent both rooms. But there has been not many inquiries about that. Frends have putted 3 listings, one for each room and than for whole appartment. They had 5 booking in combined one in last year. Anybody had some practice in handling this? Actuall I could rent just a bed in room also but I see it too complicated.

Leny - it is much much easier to get friends to rent more than one room, if you insist that rooms are single occupancy, or for one person only, in which case the two friends will each need to rent one room. Or if you have a max # of people who you allow into a room (say two people) and there is a group of three that wants to come, so they need two rooms to cover the 3 of them. I find that even though I don't allow more than one person per room, I still get a considerable number of inquiries from guests who are friends or a couple, who want to stay 2 to a room. I tell them they would need to rent 2 rooms.
The advantage I see to listing 2 rooms together or the whole place together, is you can show a larger max # of people, and thus larger groups of people will see your place when they search for a place under say a place that fits 5 people, whereas if you just list bedrooms that fit 2 people each, they wont' even see your place.

I definitely agree with Andrew about renting out rooms separately if you as the host dont' live in the place. I couldn't tell, Leny, from your post whether you lived there or not. So for that reason I held back on saying what Andrew has gone ahead and stated about the problems one can have when renting rooms to separate parties, when one doesn't live there. That isn't a setup I would advise for a host, and it isn't one I would be interested in as a guest.
However, if the host is living on the premises, it is do-able to rent rooms to separate parties, but even then significant problems can arise if you allow more than one person per room. I have seen posts about these problems, shared by hosts who try to do that.

Hi Leny, I have a four bedroomed apartment which I have listed under 5 names viz 4 listing for one bedroom each and 1 for the entire apartment. If any one or more of the bedrooms are booked I manually manage the calender and block these dates as unavailable for the entire apartment and vice versa. This way I find all the listings have greater visibility.

It's just the segment of guests I'm aiming. There was no problem with different parties. Except that once one eated a jogurt from other guest when they were sharing the kitchen. I was writing messages for whole day trying to cater "jogurt" situation. Guess I'll never forget that "jogurt". There are lots of guests that want shared accomodation based on that they are traveling alone and like some company on the location. I would somehow like to to advertise that they can have bigger level of comfort if they rent both. To be more clear situation is like this: City center location A) private room with own bathroom www.airbnb.com/rooms/4441986?preview, B) private room with own bathroom and kitchen www.airbnb.com/rooms/1661001?preview. They are seperate adjecent units having seperate front door from corridor. Each has 2 single beds + 2 auxilary beds price si around 30$ each. I would like to sell sometimes AB) that would then have 2 rooms, 2 bathrooms, and kitchen for 60$. East part of city location A) private room, B) private room www.airbnb.com/rooms/8137326?preview + shared bathroom and kitchen I would like to sell it like that each room seperatly, but also as AB) whole apartment www.airbnb.com/rooms/3411445?preview. I curently live at third place (where I would also like to rent sometimes smaller room, bigger room or all together), all this confusion explaining why I want to move and have it all together and finally having a fixed place to sleap for myself as I consider myself even nomadic now ;-P Thanks guys for interest. I really appreciate disscusion on this topic, as I'm even thinking of developing some managing application to handle it.

Do you know how to contact airbnb representative on isuee. So it's not urgent but I would like to have confirmation that I can have 3 listings one for whole place and two for each room. Woudn't like to break any rulles. Also I would like to start from start in place in city center in aim to get superhost status. I have renovated and learnt a lot in last 2 years. We only had a one meating with real person in Zagreb, and as I know still we don't have anybody in Airbnb in charge of Croatia :-(

Pretty sure you can have multiple listings by room or entire house, but I wouldn't want to try to manage the calendars! Unless there's a way to sync calendars between the multiple listings. I used to have 2 listings - one for each room. But, as Andrew stated, a guest's experience may be negatively impacted by another. A year ago, I removed my second listing, as I had some disrespectful guests who were up very late, playing/making music, and generally having a very good time. Fortunately, I didn't have anyone in the other room, but I was mortified to think if I had. So now I just use my words in the description, and the # guests, to show that - if within the same party - there are 2 rooms. It reduces my income considerably as it rarely gets requested, but keeps my ratings favourable.
