What should I do?
I have an accepted booking, it was last minute, starting today for a month, although the he contacted me a couple of days ago. I haven't heard from him since the booking was
Made and accepted and confirmed. I want to go to bed soon. Thanks for your input.

You should send him a message asking when he plans to arrive. Actually you should have done this when the reservation was made. You may have to stay up late!

Send hi a text telling him you are going to bed and to call you 1/2 hour before his arrival so you can let him in. No matter how last minute a booking is, always get full names of all guests and an estimated time of arrival. Hope he arrives soon!

Ditto Clare and Queenie. This is a good example of the importance of communication happening prior to accepting a guest's reservation, but it can happen even if the communication was excellent and guest told you when he would arrive -- and then doesn't arrive by the stated time.
A host always needs a plan for what to do if it is time for the host to go to bed and the guest hasn't arrived. For me, it's not acceptable to tell a guest they have to arrive by a certain time or they can't get in. I feel that could put the guest in danger (no place to stay if they come late) and isn't necessary -- though some hosts say they take that approach.
For me, I will generally leave a key out in a lockbox, and sent guest the instructions. I will also usually leave my phone on in case guest can't get in. But I don't like to do that -- I would much rather meet the guest in person on check in.
