business travel friendly listings?
Hi Everyone,,As I recall, about 3-4 months ago, Airbnb sent me an email about setting up my place to accommodate business travelers. There were certain guidelines; one was having an iron and board. Now I can't find any info about how to do this, and, after 30 min on the phone with yet another new Airbnb support person, I got nowhere. He even said 5 other staff he talked to had no idea about this. Am I imagining this or was/is there a process for getting our listing to be classified as business travel friendly? Thanks for your feedback,Amy

HI Amy
I have not found anything for hosts about that.
I did find this:
www.airbnb.com/help/article/927/what-is-airbnb-business-travel
and this and other news articles:
www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2015-07-20/airbnb-overhauls-service-for-business-travelers
and
money.cnn.com/2015/08/21/news/companies/airbnb-business-travel/
and:
tinyurl.com/pkc5ruz
It seems to me that Airbnb is directing business travelers to certain listings.
I did find this:

If you go to the "business travel" page and search for listings in your city from there, what you find, as I did,is that only listings which are an "entire apartment/house" will show up. So it seems clear that Airbnb is not considering a room in a house to be a suitable listing for business travelers. They are only showing entire place listings in the search results that come up for business travelers. So that should provide some answers at least. In fact that may be the ENTIRE answer....
