Evelyn talks to an attorney who has a lot of knowledge about claims that hosts make to Airbnb, such as for damages they claim over guests who had an unauthorized party, which was Evelyn's own experience. www.thehostingjourney.com/airbnb-legal-drama/"If you don't have it in your house rules that you will charge an additional charge for every extra person, then Airbnb will not back you up." It's as I've been saying for a LONG time, you need EVERYTHING in your house rules that you want to be able to enforce. You can't just tell guests the rules after they book, you can't add terms or policies later on that are not written down. Everything needs to be in the rules, and in the rules before the guest books. Note that per section 8.1.3 on Airbnb TOS, any guest who books a listing and would be bringing additional guests, is REQUIRED to make sure that every single guest who'll be staying at the listing, meets all requirements set by the host, and knows and agrees to all the host's rules.
