I know a host who recently had a situation with a very bad guest who insisted on being allowed to violate house rules and bring additional unregistered people to the property and who called her names when at her house (eg, the guest called the host foul names). However, as too often occurs, the GUEST complained about this host to Airbnb, and then this hosts' account was "suspended" while Airbnb investigated. Thankfully they did not terminate her account over this nonsense -- if anyone's account should have been terminated it was the guest's ---- but Airbnb did ask the host to verify she'd read this information before they reactivated her account: www.airbnb.com/trust/standardsI note in this information that users are not allowed to use "false names" ....yet Airbnb has also said that people can use any name or any pseudonym that they like on their account. So, how are these two things reconciled? No false names, yet you can use any fake name you want?
