This is a dilemma many of us face in our hosting lives. The guest is violating one or more house rules, and we've tried talking to them politely about it once...and...looks like you'll need to bring it up again, more firmly...but...you're worried that a more firm approach might result in you getting a bad review. What to do? airhostsforum.com/t/weighing-the-costs-of-enforcing-rules-vs-getting-a-bad-review/25707I recommend that you always enforce your rules, but try to do it in the kindest way possible. And I also recommend being a degree softer in your reviews than you actually feel towards the guest who broke your rules. THis can have an effect long term, in that it can shape how other guests will see you, and may have an influence on how some guests will write reviews, too.
