See the article: www.ft.com/content/6aed6948-8811-11e7-bf50-e1c239b45787Well it's nice that Danny Glover has something else to do, but I think it's dumb for Airbnb to try so hard to defend against malicious accusations of "racism." All this work, and hiring all these people, and consultants, from David King to Eric Holder to Laura Murphy to Danny Glover, to defend against empty allegations, mean-spirited allegations, basically supports the meme of "the more mud you throw at us, the more cleaning companies we'll gladly hire to look for where the mud is coming from in our organization." Wrong approach. Instead of hiring more cleaners, call out the people who keep throwing mud at you. I think there's a problem with the idea that there is something wrong, and Airbnb is to blame, if every type of people or every culture is not equally interested in using Airbnb. Is Danny Glover going to get out there and smack people if they dont' sign up to use Airbnb? It's not like Airbnb is preventing people of any type, any kind at all, from signing up to be hosts, or using the platform as guests.
