There's potential for fascism on both the right and the left. Here's a form of left wing fascism -- How about people only patronizing butcher shops that dont' do business with anyone who slaughters animals? That's what a fanatic organization in the Bay Area wants to see and they are using what amounts to extortion to try to accomplish their ends. In my area, a local butcher shop in Berkeley has essentially been forced to hang an animal-rights sign out in front of their business, because people keep protesting out in front of the butcher's shop about the killing of animals. www.berkeleyside.com/2017/08/02/berkeleys-local-butcher-shop-hangs-animal-rights-sign-stop-weekly-protests/

How can a butcher not do business with people, who slaughter animals? The labgrown steak is still not ready for sale. Or do they want more steps in between? The butcher can't slaughter himself? He cannot buy from the company slaughtering? The more steps in between, the greater the risk, that's mass production. My vegetarian biker just left in search of dinner, not easy on a Sunday in August, before the 15 August. A big holiday. (I offered to cook vegetarian if she wants to join). She arrived with legs like a jokey, found back, protruding belly (from yhe garb) and she did not unfold in the shower or the next two hours, entertaining me with reports of daily mileage. As soon as a conviction becomes a religion, it's dangerous.
Your butcher could print on his bags: We don't kill them, we tell them jokes till they laugh to death.
