It's so odd that most of the listed places are in suburbs of big towns - Mississauga and Scarborough are each an hour away from downtown Toronto and Richmond is outside of Vancouver at least 20 minutes, so I don't get it? Not like they are destination places on their own, so I wonder what the draw is?

Maybe there aren't many places that can hold large numbers of people and these do? One of them actually invites parties, which is somewhat a rare thing for Airbnb hosts I believe. Bachelor parties! Some have features like being close to the airport or not far from a National park (Banff). Maybe they are just particularly attractive properties, compared to the competition?
