Funny article. I'm like him, the back of my car always has an assortment of things like dish soap, shampoo bottles, kitchen sponges and bedsheets. I had a bottle of Guinness that a guest left rolling around the back of my car for a week before it finally drove me crazy enough to take it out (and toss it, it had been in 90F for a week).

I'd probably keep guest items in the back of my car too if the back of my car had any space. It doesn't so I keep these things in my house...always trying to find more space for such extras. Just bought about 4 packs of new sheets last week -- still trying to find space for storing them.

This is one of the stupidest things I ever did, but I had a plastic bottle with fruit juice in it in my truck. It was in the fall, but still getting hot then cold for a week or so. I knew I should toss it, but for whatever reason, I decided to open it first. I was standing looking down, but I knew it might blow, and just in time, when it did, I leaned back. That plastic top, I kid you not, blew 30 ft in the air. I know it would have taken my eye out had I not moved. Amazing how stupid one can be!
