Indeed, regular Airbnb is trouble enough, thanks. Wonder how come he's not howling for them to fix it.

It does not look like a house boat but like a house built on a floating platform. In our first years in France, we looked for a river freighter to transform into a houeboat. A bit halfhearted on my side, but Douglas went ahead and made all permits (up to 50 m ocean freighter, as you never know what you may need ) Good idea, as after a storm with boats displaced over land, the law changed and our boats need to be able to move and need to be moved from time to time - all but the very small ones by a person with a permit. This blue atrocity does not look like you could sail it on a mill pond.
The owner makes another fund raiser out of it and insurance will pay as well. But I like the lobster motorcycle.

I liked the coffee table that was what I thought as a crab trap, but must be a lobster trap.
I still lust after some coffee tables I seen in Venice made of glass dolphins.
The 'three pops' that the neighbor heard was a big red flag; function of property vs guests.
Engine blowing up, or three gunshots into the floor?
I'm guessing that's why no screaming of lawsuit against airbnb for unruly guests were made. Just making this up, but like you, I'm thinking the primary insurance is forcing zipped lips pending further investigation.
I'd have to re-read the article again, but the guests certainly did not stand out like the 1000 guest fund raiser.
I thought of sara and her comment...."If we all had fabulous mansions, we wouldn't be cleaning loos for strangers."
Granted, that mansion had house cleaners; I shall presume.
