This post on the Airbnb Community Center, a host questions the appropriateness of a guest's comment in her review. What do you think, is this guest comment appropriate or not?
community.airbnb.com/t5/Hosts/How-to-appeal-decision-that-a-review-did-not-violate-content/m-p/115741#M33364 I'm inclined to think this is an appropriate comment by the guest, as it represents her real experience. I also think it's not fair to characterize this comment as accusing someone of being "racist." It does no such thing. Some guests may "write off" a host's children's behavior, others may not. I think any part of host's family's behavior towards guest is appropriate for a review.
What is your take on it?

Oddly, I personally would NEVER, EVER, EVER book with a company like Airbnb with 2-way reviews. Hotels only for me! Even as cheap as I am. But let's pretend that I would. I think I would want to know if a person in an environment--even a child--is going to tend to make me uncomfortable. It shows so much about how they are being raised, which, of course, does reflect on the parents. Now, the guest who wrote in my review that he got a dirty look from a stranger on the street--well, that can be taken many different ways. It was a black guy giving my guest, another black guy, a dirty look. WISH I had time to unravel it, but I don't! Anyway, I vote valid complaint on the 7-yr-old.
