Joseph shared: 11 things you need to know about Airbnb before you book fxn.ws/1HWmAQMThe Good, The Bad and the Semi Truth (ugly or not ) At least its not another Airbnb bashing article Via Carolyn Said of the Chronicle Keith: This actually is a pretty good article. I take issue with some of what they said, but I believe they believed what they were saying was true from their personal experience. They seem to forget that reviews are now doubleblind so there's no way to benefit from a favorable review since you wont know how you were reviewed until you review them. that's helped a lot with accuracy of the review system in my opinion. I put this one in the good column. Michael: Can't agree more. Do not know why Airbnb clamps so tight on the search result and listing placement (without any flexibility on catering to guest's needs, such as: sort by nightly rate). ------------------------------- 8. The search function is the worst Prepare to be bamboozled. You'd think that you'd be able to sort by rating, or popularity, or by weekly/monthly cost, without having to choose a date set. No such luck with Airbnb's notoriously opaque search function.
