Hey All,
Something else to watch out for...... so I have not been getting many requests again lately and jumped through all the usual silly hoops to try to get my listing to show up higher so this morning I do a "blind" search for my listing and find out my prices are about $20 - $50 higher per day than I actually charge. If I click on the date on the calendar it shows the right price but if I put in as if for a request it is higher (and that is not including the cleaning fee). For instance next week I have Mon at $115, Tues at $125 and Wens at $135 but if I look to book those 3 days, it shows $160 a night for 3 nights, plus my cleaning fee, plus Airbnb fee. No wonder I am not getting inquiries!!!!!!!! So I immediately call Airbnb and get the message "current wait time is over 30 minutes." Why can't they friggin devote their energies to making the platform work smoothly and correctly instead of changing the dashboard every few weeks, randomly changing how you update the calendar with no warning, and just making it harder and harder to do our jobs? Why can't they stick with what made them work in the first place instead of now trying to be everything to everybody!!!! Mostly venting cause I know I am going to have to stay on hold to talk to Airbnb, NO MATTER HOW MANY FREAKING TIMES THEY HANG UP ON ME!! But if anyone has any ideas or had this same experience, thanks for any advice you might offer. And apologize for venting through exclamation marks and all caps but is keeping me from throwing my computer...
