Sidney shared Jan 2015 Upper Manhattan Hosts www.airbnb.com/groups/content/content-101988Sidneya year ago No bookings For four years I have been booked year round but this January I have nothing. And no inquiries for Feb March, even though I slashed my prices. Is anyone else having the same issue? Do you think the weak Euro is the reason? Or NY State's anti-AIRBNB campaign? 2 comments Follow Like Carrie Carriea year ago since you are a seasoned host, you probably notice that winter is usually a bit slow. i try to attract long-term guest (28 days plus) for the winter season by lowering my price to almost half. things should catch up when the season picks up again in March/April. hard to pinpoint what the exact reason is. i personally think that the surge of new listings is making the biggest difference. i didn't think Time Square is any less crowded this year than the last. Like Jeanne Astrid Jeanne Astrida year ago Dear Sidney that's what i'm facing for about two or three weeks now. Let's not be discouraged. there are better days ahead. It's though but it's going to be fine. There are holidays in Europe in February... Let's be positive. Peace, love and courage to you.
