English guys Arrested in Japan for hosting without permission in his own house.
I saw this news recently but there is no mention of Airbnb. Does anyone know the guy, or something about it?

宿泊施設の許可が無いにもかかわらず、客を自宅に宿泊させたとしてイギリス人の男が逮捕されました。
イギリス人のウッド・ジェームス容疑者（28）は3月から4月にかけて、許可無く料金を取ってタイ人の男性など7人を東京・足立区の自宅に宿泊させた疑いが持たれています。警視庁などによりますと、ウッド容疑者は、外国人の旅行者を相手に「スカイツリーや富士山が見える」などとインターネットで客を集めていました。1泊3000円ほどの料金で泊まらせていて、取り調べに対し、「将来、東京でオリンピックもあるので、低料金の施設を提供した」と容疑を認めています。ウッド容疑者は、自宅に宿泊施設として必要な防火設備などを設置していませんでした。

Hello everyone,
I know of him and he is a super nice guy. Basically it appears the hotel industry is gearing up to cause issues for the new laws being passed to allow hosts to rent their properties for a specific amount of time legally. When I find out more Ill post it here.
