Morning
Well i have learned not to use the term (hun) or guys and dolls on the forum . From now on i will just address it as is . As i stated quiet alot yesturday am new to airbnb . I have a comfortable bed and breakfast in blackpool england and i may have my wires crossed but i thought this site was for bnb bed and breakfast no matter what size ? I do have confussion on my listing but i have now decided ro contact airbnb for help . I suppose the best way to learn is to make mistakes . As for advice any new comers feel free to message me i am not perfect i make mistakes but i am established 6 years and have had many experiences both good and bad . Hope everyone has a good day . And am sorry if i offended anyone whilst asking for help thanks jackie

Hi Jackie :-) i wouldn't worry about the terms you use. Each to their own! How are you meant to know what offends one and not another? Dont take it to heart, and move on from that little upset.
You are better than that, you have a business to run and no time to worry about how you come across to people! Some people need to take a long look at themselves and how they come across to others before giving advice. Am not pointing fingers but we all should practice what we preach, starting with treating people as you'd like to be treated and spoken to! Some of the stuff I have read coming from experienced hosts is shocking!!
Hope you have figured out how to set up your 16 different listings. Once you get that done, you are going to have to be super organised to make your calendar work!:-)
Now dont stress, chin up, keep smiling and good luck with your new venture with ABB!

It would have disheartened me too, if i had such remarks from my peers! I do not expect everyone to know everyone's culture, idioms, slang or their personal preferences. I am baffled at these behaviours to be honest with you. I wonder if they know all of that themselves before going on a moody rampage!
Anyway, let that slide, enjoy your shows. Am doing the same :-)

I think you're gonna be a lovely Airbnb host, Jackie. At least you can take constructive criticism & you do want to do well. You seem very warm in your comments. Since you've already hosted a long time, I doubt you'll find anything really new under the sun with this company. Guests are a little more sophisticated since they have to have a smart phone or at least an app. You're gonna be great!
