So here I am in the Mohave desert in California heading up towards death Valley national park. since there is no cell phone reception in death Valley I need to snooze my listings for the five days that I will be there . I wrongly assumed that I would be able to do this with my cell phone --- i am traveling with my cell phone and left my listings live for the first six days of my vacation .
anticipating loss of cell reception tomorrow morning I went to try to snooze my listings today and found that I was not able to do it via smart phone .
a feature that we used to have now doesn't work because I used to be able to do this on smartphone . No more. So while sitting in a parking lot in the town of westmioreland in the Imperial Valley sipping a date shake (this is the center of production of Medjool dates from date palms) I was on the phone with Airbnb having them snooze my listings so while sitting in a parking lot in West Moreland in the Imperial Valley sipping a date shake I was on the phone with Airbnb having them snooze all my Listings.
Today I visited the famous "slab city" by the salton sea-- sign proclaims it the last free place in the nation--/ and visited the famous salvation mountain I will post photos later !

What smart phone are you using? I just checked my Iphone and on the very bottom of my listing description, I saw that button to unlist or snooze.
Darn, what a bummer. Hope you could get a hold of a laptop before you lose connection.

Deborah, there are two workarounds to get the features of the full wbsite into your phone. I wrote them for Sara, I just paste the first her:
Over time it's not practical to manage your listings only via the app. As you have no computer, you have to bully the website into giving you access to the full website and not only to the reduced version for mobile browsers. I found a way for you. It consist of two steps: first to log in and be recognised and second step to get around the minimal version to be able to manage the listing. FIRST step: possibly you did that already last time I told you so, in that case you can ignore it. A) Open one of the forum mails. B) put the finger on the link Reply to and LEAVE it there. After a second, you get a context menu Open in app, Open in Safari. Chose open in Safari C) you are asked to log in. Do that with your usual mail and password for airbnb AND check Remember me. SECOND step: open airbnb website in Safari. From a forum page, scroll to the top of the page. A) On top left there is a drop down menu with faint red lines. Click that B) you see your portrait and a few lines of options. Click on your portrait C) your profile appears and in the middle in small red print Modify Profile. Click that D) you get now a small part of the regular website. You could modify your profile now. Over that white part is a grey line with the title Profile. Click that word, it's a menu, not a title E) you see several options. Click My Listings. Go on then and try to block the calendar here. Check in the app if it works. It should.

The second one is via the app. Go into travel mode,on bottom left, help center and type a thing like "problems with guest" you get an article about the resolution center or something with a link. Following that, it opens the resolution center implemented into your app. From there on, you can find the normal features. Other keywords will work too, maybe even "snooze listing" As I'm on the phone, I can't test it, but I did it with several searches already.
Just test titles, some are links but the effects "on mouse over" don't work. You don't see them as links but they work. Good luck

Helga, I have to say I'm very, very impressed with the knowledge you have - from hosting, recipes and even Information Technology! I always enjoy your posts and feel so lucky to have peeps like you, Deborah and Andrew to make hosting so much more enjoyable and sometimes bearable.

Hi I am home now from vacation -- I was using an iphone. There is indeed what looks like a button at the bottom of each listing to snooze or unlist, but when you click on snooze, it takes you to a page to set snooze dates, and then once you do that, there is no option to actually set the snooze. Same for unlist -- you can select the reason you want to unlist, but there is no option to actually unlist after you select the reason. IT's frustrating because when I went on vacation last year, I was able to do this, and now this year I can't. So it's one big step backwards. Thanks Helga for all your guidance on that -- but I lost internet access soon after making my post so wasn't able to read your response til I got home. I will try it. I did try to access the full site via smartphone, figuring if I could do that I could just do everything as normal by zooming in on the page. I began by going to www.airbnb.com/groups on the smart phone and then got the full site page there. However when I selected "manage listings" from the menu on the top of the full site version, I ended up with some sort of hybrid page, that looked like a hybrid between the app and the full site, and then when I clicked to manage any one listing, it would not pull up the listing but gave me a blank page, so that was the end of that. NOw to try your method and see if that works!
