I apologize ahead if this has been covered. I searched but didn't see it. I noticed for the first time the questions below after two of our guests review from some time back. It wasn't there before and I'm wondering if this is new? We are "super hosts" and have been getting 4 and 5 star reviews for some time. We haven't really had any negative reviews and the feedback questions that suddenly appeared paired with these reviews, doesn't make sense. They were positive reviews even talking about how great our location was. There is a lock beside each one and it says "private" when you click it. I know I shouldn't dwell on something like this but it bothers me and I'd like to at least understand why it suddenly appeared after all this time. Also, if there is any issue, how can I make it better? Here's one example:
Accuracy feedback: Why did you rate this 2 or less stars?
Cleanliness feedback: Why did you rate this 2 or less stars?
Arrival feedback: Why did you rate this 2 or less stars?
Communication feedback: Why did you rate this 2 or less stars?
Location feedback: Why did you rate this 2 or less stars?
Value feedback: Why did you rate this 2 or less stars?

Rhonda, you read my mind. I had this exact same thing happen with a review I got from a guest, and I began to assume it was because the guest had rated me low in all those categories stated. However, this would be quite unlikely, as the guest in question was a repeat guest who had stayed with me several times and not only loved my house, but actually stated in his review that he had rated me 5 stars. I have been meaning to call AIrbnb CX and inquire about this but have not had time to do so yet. I also haven't had time to ask other hosts about this.
If you get low star ratings, you may be able to see that on your dashboard down below -- "recent low ratings in ___ Listing" for instance. See if you see anything there. If not, we both need to ask around about this. It is possible it's a system glitch and those questions got shown by accident, but it's also possible the guest rated you low, or as in my case, accidentally rated me low.

Thanks so much Deborah for your response. I was relieved when I read it. I was wondering about a possible glitch too partly because the review dates awhile back and those questions weren't there all along. I am not keeping my head in the clouds on the super host rating but to date, we have not had any low ratings if I can trust the numbers and the law of averages! I also spoke with this guest and he really did love the location for the events he was in town for yet he is showing a below 2? As you mentioned, it could also be misunderstanding the system. I have read about some of the frustrations with the site in different areas and hope Airbnb realizes how much glitches affect all of us. When it comes down to it, it would seem their website and the proper functioning of it is really what they have to offer both hosts and guests so they need to get it right. I'll check back here in case you are able to find something out about this particular issue.
I read and learn alot from your site here and am so thankful that you created it! I read and don't always comment but am definitely glad for the ease of this site and for those who are sharing! Thank you!
