Host Insurance is hoax? any host received claim? AirBnB Mega Corporate viz Community Group
Got in unfortunate situation and regardless of my dozen excellent reviews, Airbnb cancelled my reservation and deactivated listing on single complain from a guest from France using a proxy profile of an American woman.
Long story short - a long ordeal followed and I received zero compensation or any words of support from the Company or it's representatives. As the company standards and website constantly changing, even this groups would be deactivated and I'm not sure we the hosts would get better support as the company is getting bigger and bigger
We as hosts often have simple reviews for guests regardless and also any communication to learn more about the host is filters so Verification and safety is difficult given Airbnb downgrades the response and listing availability of the hosts immediately, the policies and web site seems to be changing al the time
I wonder if any hosts have had better experience? Any body received any claims? I have found every claim is rejected for some reason or other
is it worth following up with Airbnb or any other way to get a host to be heard?
Hope we improve this 'sharing economy' preposition and hope it's not turning in a mega corporation with good PR yet poor accord:(

Twitter should get you heard. But reading the text, I don't really understand what happened, you write only insinuations. I can't really advise any strategy on that base and I believe the CS person might have had a problem to understand you. I did not have many problems with my guests but whenever I involved CS they were helpful or at least comforting. (Most situations solved themselves in the delay we agreed upon)
