How can I block someone, who is harassing me through messages?

There is a little flag beside the messages and in his profile to "flag" = report them. If it's worse than annoying, contact Customer Service.

In over 5 years, I flagged a few guests giving explanations of the reason , got two profiles removed within a day and a few were blocked in what activities they were doing to me but kept their profiles. A few increased their behavior and were totally removed after the next flags. So I would not say that flagging is useless. But the result depends on the offense and how factual you present it. I'd credit airbnb with the right to judge for themselves without public pressure on twitter, if the offense merits a temporary quarantine of the profile, an expulsion or only a blocking of contact between both parties.
