So I just wanted to let everyone know of some fun options you have when you post on this forum, in terms of formatting for your post.
First, you can post text in different colors and font sizes. You will see buttons at the top of the compose thread box, to select those. You can also make your text bold or italicized, by selecting those buttons. Then, note the several icons to the right side of the compose message box. You can use those to insert links in text (and have the link be represented by a phrase which you type in, for instance, I am now entering the link for our associated blog site: This is our blog site linked to this forum
YOu can also insert an email address either directly, or also using this replacement by text. You can insert photos or video to your post. You can tag someone on the forum by going High Priestess, for instance, that is me, which can alert them that they have been tagged, and call them over to your post, if they have set their settings to get notifications when they are tagged.
You can insert a quote in a quote block, or a personal smilie (you can use either the provided standard smilies, or upload some of your own on your profile by going to edit profile for your account) .
You can also use a large variety of fonts for your post, which are not specified here, if you know the name of those fonts. Keep in mind though, the fonts you use on your post will only be able to be seen by other viewers, if they have those fonts installed on their computer Those accessing the site from a mobile device will be unlikely to be able to see most of these different fonts.
ALl you have to do to select another font than those offered here, is highlight the text you want that font for, and then select one of the existing fonts from the "font face" box above. Once you get that done, go back to the code (the little brackets that get placed around your text which say "font face =" and give the font name, and replace the font name which is being used, to the name of the font you would like to use.
For instance, here is the Cantebriggia font: Cantebriggia font
Here is "A Charming Font" : A Charming Font
Here is Estrangelo Edessa: Estrangelo Edessa
Here is Freestyle Script: Freestyle Script
And Bookman Old Style: Bookman Old Style
ANd German Underground: German Underground
Candara and Yu Mincho Demibold: Candara Yu Mincho Demibold
And what about Twiggy and Oh No? Twiggy Font
Oh No Font
