As many who are on Facebook may have realized, there was a group for hosts on Facebook called "Airbnb Guests Blacklist" which allowed hosts to get help avoiding bad guests through the creation of a "guest blacklist". The group has had problems with "moles" who join the group as "spies" and take screenshots to either share with the guest or with Airbnb or elsewhere online. One such spy shared the screenshots with the media, and now FB has taken the group. skift.com/2019/10/31/facebook-removes-airbnb-host-group-that-ridiculed-guests/This is disappointing, because the group was quite valuable. However, Airbnb TOS state that users privacy is important, and this means hosts should not be sharing guests' full name and/or photos or link to guest's profile elsewhere. That makes it difficult to do blacklists.
