Another horrible and truly bizarre mess left by guests at a host's home, and sadly again the inadequate response from Airbnb. It should not be hard to just pay this host for these damages, given all the photos and evidence she provided!

I spoke on the phone with two different representatives. I’ve sent you photos both through the app and email. I’ve given you an account of the story at minimum 3 times now. I’ll reattach photos now but I’m not sure how I can convey it to you again to understand. I even have admission of guilt from the guest.
I’m also attaching the conversation with the guest. I would greatly appreciate a phone call at least confirming that there is action being taken. So, again, my phone number is XXXXXXXXXX. Shaleen Morales was the guest from Friday October 19th to Sunday October 21st. On the 21st well after she had checked out we received a message which I have enclosed. It was a vague message saying that she was sorry for the broken glass on the stove. As I was out of the city, I wasn’t able to assess the damages until a couple days later. When I did I was greeted with human blood on my floors, walls, towels, bedroom trash can, rug as well as the tempered glass that was on the door to the oven all over the floor and inside the oven. This rendered the oven useless. I had a reservation for a guest the next day so I went to Home Depot to buy a new stove. Upon going to two Home Depot’s and a Best Buy I was told most large appliances of that nature are a 4 week lead time. So, I bought a floor model, had it brought to the apartment and installed as well as the old one taken away. I bought a new trash can and the hook ups for the gas. I threw away the rug, I did not ask nor am I asking for compensation for the rug because I have not replaced it yet and cannot put a value on it because it was vintage, and cleaned and repainted the walls where the blood was. I should mention upon cleaning the shower to ready the apartment for the next guest I also found blood, chunks of flesh, and vomit. The pictures I took were minimal but I am a small business owner and my time is valuable. I was already spending more time than I possibly had because of this situation. So, here is the receipts, the emails, the messages, the pictures. If I’m leaving anything out please reach out to me. I hope to hear from you later today. Thank you.
