The state of Colorado is set to reclassify Airbnb rentals as non-residential in nature, and if they do that, the tax rate for hosts will rise drastically from 7.2% to 29%.

This is ironic given that it was a Colorado court which previously stated that having AIrbnb guests at one's home was a residential, not a commerical activity.
