Interesting question, if the term "superhost " induces in error. It certainly does, as people take it so seriously. Although ghe victim was a superhost once herself, so she can't plead being mislead to false trust. She should know that she had not to proof any superior trustworthyness herself.
Interesting though that airbnb claims to check criminal records of all American members. Seems they were waiting for something like this.
