If you are expecting guests from some regions of South America, you may need to know this: many South Americans dont' put toilet paper into the toilet. Instead, they dispose of it in the waste basket in the bathroom. This is because their plumbing systems can't handle the TP.
This is why, you may find, as I did, that after a guest from South America arrives, suddenly you're discovering that the bathroom waste basket needs to be emptied more often.
You may want to explain to South American guests that here we do flush the TP.
Alternatively, if you're a tourist/guest in South America, you may need to learn to put your TP in the waste bin!!
