The settling of Airbnb's lawsuit against the city of San Francisco appears to be pulling Airbnb into an agreement to help the City enforce its short term rental laws -- something that Airbnb previously has not been willing to do in any city, and something that as I mentioned elsewhere could create seriously bad precedent as it sets up private corporations to collude with governments to both violate users' privacy and involve corporations becoming involved in government law enforcement. www.nbcbayarea.com/investigations/Airbnb-and-San-Francisco-meet-privately-to-settle-bitter-lawsuit-403601696.html
